This past Saturday, 28 June, the Carousel Motoring World roared to life as car lovers from across the region converged for the Nitro Crew Record Car Audio Championship – featuring SPL and Bass Boxing, a thrilling Show & Shine, and powerful car audio demos that left the crowd buzzing.
From polished classics to custom builds with ground-shaking sound systems, our grounds transformed into a playground for car enthusiasts, audio fanatics, and families alike. Visitors strolled through gleaming car displays, experienced live audio demonstrations in our dedicated Car Audio Demo Area, and cheered on competitors battling for the loudest and clearest sound systems in the region.
Whether you’re passionate about custom cars, high-performance vehicles, or simply love the energy of a vibrant car meet, the Carousel is fast becoming the home for automotive excitement in Gauteng and beyond.
This year, the roar of engines wasn’t the only warmth spreading through the Carousel. As part of the event, we proudly hosted a blanket drive, collecting a total of 146 blankets to help bring comfort to the less fortunate this winter. These blankets will be donated to the Caring for the Disadvantaged Centre, Carousel Hospice, and the Midrand Hindu Dharma Sabha (MHDS) — proving that when our community gathers, good things happen on and off the track.
