With newly renovated facilities, a guesthouse, and multiple event venues, we are creating a hub for unforgettable corporate and leisure experiences.
We are seeking a high-energy sales leader to fill the role of Business Development & Sales Manager. This role is about driving new business, opening doors, and rapidly growing revenue in conferencing, events, and accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Lead and manage a small but growing sales team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
Mentor and coach team members, driving a culture of prospecting, closing, and exceeding targets.
Data-Driven Sales Management
Use CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho) to manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and track team performance.
Leverage analytics and reporting to inform strategy, pricing, and sales decisions.
International Market Development
Proactively pursue international conference organizers, tour operators, and event promoters.
Build relationships with European, Asian, and African travel/event markets to drive cross-border business.
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, government, NGOs, event planners, and tour operators.
Actively cold call, network, and attend industry events to build a strong sales pipeline.
Create and execute outreach strategies to engage decision-makers.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Sell event packages, conferences, weddings, and accommodation with a focus on closing deals quickly.
Exceed monthly and annual sales targets through proactive deal-making.
Negotiate and close high-value contracts with C-suite and procurement teams.
Market Expansion
Develop partnerships with Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), DMCs, and corporate travel agencies.
Leverage market insights to identify emerging opportunities and position Carousel competitively.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ hard sales experience in events, conferencing, hospitality, or related industries.
Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
Strong existing corporate and government networks are a major advantage.
Skilled negotiator with the ability to close complex, high-value deals.
CRM experience and a data-driven sales approach preferred.
